According to multiple Russian sources, the extended demo of/prequel to/stand alone first chapter  of (delete depending on how cynical you are) Metal Gear Solid 5, subtitled Ground Zeroes, is arriving on Steam on the 18th of December 2014.

This follows the announcement Komani made in August that both Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom pain and Ground Zeroes were coming to PC at some point in the near future.

If MGS5: GZ does come out on the 18th of December, then it would be right at the beginning of the expected date for the international event called the “Steam Christmas Sale” which is more commonly known as “Oh God, Where Has All My Money Gone?” to those of us who are addicted to finding fantastic deals on video-games.

This is very exciting. I am a huge Metal Gear Solid fan but lack the money to buy them for current generation consoles like the XBONE and the PS4. Luckily, I have a pretty powerful computer so I can’t wait to play both games at some point and see them in all their ridiculous glory.
